Why do we like to cheat in video games?

So I'm not quite sure what percentage of users who browse these forums look for, but I was asking myself why I like to hack or find exploits in video games. Is it because I try and find easier ways to win or become the best? Maybe find an easier way to cheat through life instead of training and hard work?
