Hey guys, i've been looking around on the forum and noticed that very many people are asking for high fps configs.
So i just thought id upload one.
I'll try complaining what to do, yea uhm..
1) Download the .rar file down below (The FPS Config)
Please notice that if you have 32bit operating system, you will only have Programfiles. If you have 64bit, you will have Programfiles (x86), so find where you Steam folder is located.
2) Extract the .cfg to C:/Programfiles/Steam/Steamapp/Nickname/Counter-Strike Source/Cstrike/Cfg
When i say nickname, i mean your steam name^
3)If you have finished step 2, then close your cfg folder and open up steam.
4) Go to your steam, right click ""Counter-Strike Source", click "properties" and "Set launch options",
and type in: "-heapsize 1048576 -high -dxlevel 80" without these ""
5) After you put that in, press "Ok" and launch your Counter-Strike Source.

This cfg removes all "un needed" blood, palm trees. Bullet holes in the walls/ground, bodies, high detailed ground, landscape etc..
This config is ment for people who has 1.3Ghz or lower, or 3Gb of ram or even lower. But it still works on all Computers.

And if you don't always wanna play using this config, or you maybe don't want to backup your cstrike folder, etc..
Then you might try to rename the cfg to anything you want, but not "autoexec", and put it in your cfg folder.
So then when you want to play using this cfg, all you will have to do is to type "exec Example". <- Put your cfg name instead of example.
After you finish playing you will ofc quit css, and when you turn it back on, i think you will have the previous settings. And then you can again exec your cfg in the console.
This config gave me like 400-700 FPS, so i really hope it works for you too.
